Overview

EntryCanada's Northern House brings the memorable experience of Canada's North to the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. The Governments of the Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut invite all visitors to Vancouver to explore the warmth and wonder of the three territories. Canada's Northern House emulates all things above the 60th parallel. Visitors are greeted by a life-sized Inuksuk, simulated northern lights, an art lounge, storytelling area, and an exhibit called “The North Today” featuring interactive displays on living, visiting and investing in Nunavut.

The venue also includes business information about the three territories and showcases talent from throat singers and drum dancing, to traditional games. Canada's Northern House is a unique destination for visitors to enjoy prior to, during and after the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

History
